Once my head cleared, I quickly copied them down and read them over and over again. After our vacation I made copies and posted them in my home office and inside a journal I decided to keep. The problem was, after a couple of months I forgot about the secrets and they fell by the wayside. And so did my actions towards my goals. Well, I re-discovered the list and want to share it with you now. I hope you take these not-so-secret, secrets to heart and realize your dreams — whatever they may be. This trait has to be one of the most important in the entire list.

Your belief that you can accomplish your goals has to be unwavering. Positive things happen to positive people. Decide upon Your True Dreams and Goals: Write down your specific goals and develop a plan to reach them. Write down my dreams and goals? Develop a plan to reach them? You mean like a project plan? You may have heard the old adage: Goals are those concrete, measurable stepping stones of achievement that track your progress towards your dreams.

My goal is to start a second career as a freelance writer — what are your goals? I took action by reaching out and started writing. Every day I try to take some action towards my goals. Have you taken action towards your goals?

Why didst thou not tell me that she was thy wife? Why saidst thou, She is my sister? And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.

And there was a strife between the herdmen of Abram's cattle, and the herdmen of Lot's cattle, that they could not dwell together. Separate thyself, I pray thee, from me; if thou go to the left hand, then I will go to the right; if thou go to the right hand, then I will go to the left. Then Abram removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which was in Hebron, and built there an altar unto the Lord.

And according to the blessings of my servant, I will give unto thee. And the Lord said unto him, Take me a heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtle-dove, and a young pigeon.

And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, a great horror of darkness fell upon him. And she had a handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar. And Abram hearkened unto the voice of Sarai. Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be called Abraham; for, a father of many nations have I made thee. And he sat in his tent door in the heat of the day;.

And they said, So do, as thou hast said. And he said, Behold, in the tent. Is anything too hard for the Lord? And he said, Nay, but thou didst laugh. Wilt thou not spare them? And the Lord ceased speaking with Abraham.

And they were angry with him. Therefore the sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar. And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the mountain, and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar. And he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters. But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said unto him, Behold, thou hast taken a woman which is not thine own, for she is Abraham's wife. Behold, said he not unto me, She is my sister? And she, even she herself said, He is my brother; and in the integrity of my heart and innocency of my hands have I done this. And Abimelech said unto Abraham, What sawest thou, that thou hast done this thing?

And thus she was reproved.

THE BOOK OF GENESIS

For I was barren, but the Lord promised, and I have borne unto Abraham a son in his old age. And the day that Isaac was weaned, Abraham made a great feast, and Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which Hagar had borne unto Abraham, mocking; and she was troubled. And he said, Here am I, my son. So they went both of them together; and they came to the place of which God had told him.

And Abraham said, Here am I. Bury therefore thy dead. And he said, I am Abraham's servant;. He gave also to her brother, and to her mother, precious things. And they sent away Rebekah their sister, and her nurse, and Abraham's servant, and his men. And the sons of Dedan were Asshurim, and Letushim, and Leummim.

All these were the children of Keturah. And the Lord was entreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived. And she went to inquire of the Lord. Thus Esau despised his birthright. And Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar. And Isaac said unto him, I said it because I feared lest I die for her. And Esau went to the field to hunt for venison, and to bring it. And he said, Because the Lord thy God brought it to me.

And he said, I am.

And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept. And they said, From Haran. And they said, We know him. And they said, He is well; and, behold, Rachel, his daughter cometh with the sheep. And he told Laban all these things. And he abode with him the space of a month. Then Rachel said to Leah, Give me, I pray thee, of thy son's mandrakes. And Rachel said, Therefore he shall lie with thee tonight for thy son's mandrakes.

And he lay with her that night. And Jacob said, Thou shalt not give me anything; if thou wilt do this thing for me, I will again feed and keep thy flock. Now Jacob had pitched his tent in the mount; and Laban with his brethren pitched in the mount of Gilead. For Jacob knew not that Rachel had stolen them. Then went he out of Leah's tent, and entered into Rachel's tent. And Laban searched all the tent, but found them not. And he searched, but found not the images. God hath seen my affliction and the labor of my hands, and rebuked thee yesternight. Therefore was the name of it called Galeed,.

And Jacob sware by the fear of his father Isaac. For he said I will appease him with the present that goeth before me, and afterward I will see his face; peradventure he will accept of me. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. And he said, Jacob.
